Rules
The 2019 Chicagoland Karate-Do Challenge will follow AAU Karate rules. We have highlighted some of the rules which can be downloaded below.
Coaching
Coaches will be allowed at the rings at this tournament, if registered in advance. Each coach should have a current AAU membership and should wear an AAU coach polo.
Coaches will not be required to pay the spectator fee (staff at the entrance table will have a list of registered coaches). Please send us a list of coaches for your dojo, with AAU numbers, by October 15, 2019.

Registration
We ask dojo directors to register their students as a group. To help us organize an efficient tournament experience, all registration materials and payments must be received by Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Late forms will not be accepted; there is no on-site registration.
ATHLETES/PARENTS:
1. Complete and sign your Individual Registration and/or Team Registration Form (for Team Kata, Family Team Kata, or Team Kumite).
2. Submit your forms and payment to your Sensei/Dojo directors.

1. Collect the completed/signed Event Forms for your group and to CKC preferably by email to:

2. Email the Dojo Roster spreadsheet to the email address above by October 15, 2019.

3. Send a non-refundable payment (cashier’s check or money order payable to “Chicagoland Karate-Do Challenge” in the total amount owed) by October 15, 2019 to the mailing address above.
